Application Architects Announces FREE FileMaker 8 Hosting For Non-Profits and Schools

CHAPEL HILL, NC, MAY 18, 2006-Application Architects, LLC, an international custom software application builder, announced free database hosting of FileMaker Pro 8-based applications at its new Research Triangle Park (RTP), Chapel Hill, North Carolina USA international headquarters.

"We've got a T1 line, recent servers and the latest FileMaker Server 8 software installed and ready to serve," said Chris Kubica, Application Architects President. "We don't have unlimited bandwidth, but we have room on our servers for several-score FileMaker Pro 8-based Web applications. We've got battery and data backup in place and hope to soon have a backup generator as well. We'll continue to add bandwidth and servers to handle as many non-profit solutions as time and budget allows."

"Having founded one myself years ago, I realize that many non-profits and schools can't afford their own servers and costly software licenses," Kubica continued, "While we are by no stretch a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP), we do have the ability to host and provide free, basic support for a good handful of solutions on a first-come, first-served basis."
